Westvaco, Digimarc Enter Licensing Agreement
Westvaco Brand Security (WBS), Stamford, CT, has entered into a licensing a­greement with Digimarc, Tualatin, OR, giving it the right to employ Digimarc’s “digital watermarking” technology in counterfeit and fraud deterrence, product packaging authentication and other brand security applications for its clients. WBS will offer its clients two specific Digimarc technologies under terms of the agreement including Digimarc Excalibur™ and Digimarc MediaBridge.
